• Identified voluntary organisations for our Recommended list of NGOs'
• Helped NGOs market their products through our corporate partners
• Forged a partnership with Xansa India Ltd. to run their social development programs, helping identify, monitor and implement projects for them. The scope of this partnership includes Sarva Sudhar (Slum development), Svasth Abhiyan (Health and hygiene), Shiksha Diksha (IT Education)and Mobile creches at their building sites
• Networked with support organisations in India
• Networked with Foundations in USA
• Raised funds for victims of the earthquake that struck Gujarat in January 2001
• Provided disaster relief to 5 groups working in Gujarat after the earthquake
• Set up a health clinic at Sai Foundation, benefiting residents of the neighbouring Jasola village
• Facilitated the setting up of the Media Cell of the All India Women's conference by donating a computer
• Identified a secondary school for orphans for the 'School On-Line' programme of the America India Foundation
• Organised a workshop at Xansa India Ltd. For 40 principals and teachers of the Central District of India. The teachers were motivated by CEMD, (Center for Educational Management and Development), to undertake the training during their summer holidays.
