"Girls Going to School" Initiative-Home | ISF Survey Report 2007

Welcome to the India Sponsor Foundation.
India has numerous small NGOs (Non government Organisations) with dedicated people, working with enthusiasm to make a difference in the lives of the less fortunate. Most underachieve their potential due to a lack of financial, managerial, technical or other resources. The India Sponsor Foundation (ISF) in a unique experiment seeks to bridge this gap by supporting and mentoring such NGOs by garnering assistance from individuals and corporate houses. It helps NGOs link and communicate with donors, and also with each other.

The India Sponsor Foundation enables donors to select and donate to NGOs of their choice. Donations can be made through the citizenidbibank.org. This website, a joint initiative between the idbi bank and The India Sponsor Foundation, has an in built online and offline payment mechanism to accept donations from anywhere in the world. NGOs can reach out to a larger donor base; build efficiencies and improve operations by accessing information on the portal. They can benefit by learning through the experiences, both good and bad, of other NGOs by accessing data collected and documented by ISF. The India Sponsor Foundation aims to be a catalyst in affecting positive social change in Indian Society.
