Remedial centers started at Sakshi in Okhla for 70 girl children to supplement government school education and ensure retention of children in schools

Core group meeting on 1st December 2006 with NGO partners to finalise activities; 7 participants

Creation of a database of girls admitted through the admission drive.

Follow up and tracking of all girls children admitted in schools (To be done for the next 6 months)

Training of 15-20 peer educators each at 3 NGOs which are doing the children's consultation at the remaining NGO sites. Children's groups from all NGO sites do a consultation on their perceptions of schooling and education of girls

Remedial centers started at Rasta (Patparganj), BNS(Shakurpur, Pitampura), SPOWAC (Paharganj), VVF (Palam) catering to about 400 girl children

Children's Consultation held at remaining 5 NGO sites by the peer educators trained in December. About 315 children from across 8 communities participated in this process
