The South Asian Tsunami 26th December 2004
On the 26th December 2004 the South Asian tsunami, one of the most devastating natural disasters in years left millions homeless and in desperate need of aid. As part of the global community, we are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of life and suffering that has occurred as a result of this disaster. We invite you to support one of a number of organisations providing assistance to individuals and nations affected by this tragedy.

Death
and devastation is the outcome of any disaster, whether man made or natural. It
is generally on such a gigantic proportion that every normal system collapses.
In a disaster it is not about getting or having resources, but about reaching
them to the casualties. Natural disasters in India includes earthquakes, cyclones,
floods, draught/famine and fire.
